Our aim is to build beautiful homes in which Auckland families can create memories freely, trusting the quality of construction and authenticity of our team.
Jesse founded NZ Builders in 2015 after completing his own apprenticeship. His experience in the high-end residential construction sector, combined with his strong communication and project management skills, provided a strong foundation for NZ Builders to grow from. He now takes care of everything on site, ensuring projects are running on schedule and on budget.
Blake joined NZ Builders as a partner and director in 2017 after returning from the UK. Having previously worked in the commercial construction sector, he was able to bring professional, tried and tested systems to the residential market. Blake now manages the onboarding and handover processes, ensuring every client has all the documentation they need to gain compliance and have confidence in their guarantees.
We have an amazing crew of builders and project managers who work throughout New Zealand. Building a team we can trust who align with our values was a key focus for the business, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together.
We have a set of values our team won’t budge on.
Respect runs through everything we do, from the way we treat our clients and their homes to our sites, tools and each other. We look after the details because they all reflect the standard of NZ Builders.
Raise the bar. Don’t walk past it. High standards are a choice. We pay attention to the details, challenge anything that isn’t right and keep pushing for a better result. Because the standard you walk past becomes the standard you accept.
Take responsibility. Finish it properly. We take ownership of our work and responsibility for the outcome. If something falls in our lane, we handle it: no excuses, no blame-shifting and no loose ends.
Lift the presentation. Remove the rough edges. Professionalism is about how we show up, long before the finished work is judged. From our sites and spaces to the way we communicate, if it represents NZ Builders, we make sure it’s clean, clear and considered.
